2013/10 Shanghai Loving Design By Carl Liu

I have published two design books since I moved to China from the US. The intention was to introduce a proper design process and to demonstrate design communication through hand sketches. These books have become text book for most of universities in China till today. They are also sold world wide on Amazon.com. All the design students know me because of my books; majority of students think I am a skillful sketcher even though my intention is to teach design thinking and design logics. To send the massage of what design is really about, I decided to have my personal deign exhibition for students from all over the country for free. It’s a painful process to organize and rearrange all the work I have done since my student work 20 years ago,but it was very satisfied to myself because it was a right thing to do!
